Mediation Institute of Guyana

On the 24 June 2008, the Mediation Institute of Guyana Inc. was incorporated under the Companies Act 1991 of Guyana as A Not For Profit Company.

Mission and Vision

The mission of the Institute is to provide national leadership in the development and promotion of dispute resolution services in Guyana.

The vision of the Institute is to be the pre-eminent organization for professionals who provide mediation services and the individuals and organizations that use those services.

Board of Directors

On the 8 June 2011, the Annual General Meeting of the Mediation Institute of Guyana was held and the following persons were elected:

Ms. Jamela A. Ali - President
Ms. Pamela Nauth - 1st Vice President
Ms Ilona Perreira-Roach - 2nd Vice President
Ms. Sadie Amin - Secretary
Mr. Mohamed Khan - Treasurer
Ms. Zairol Neisha - Director
Ms. Hazel Halley-Burnett - Director

On the 24 May 2010, the first Annual General Meeting of the Institute was held and the following persons were elected to the National Board of Directors:
