Ms. Jamela A. Ali delivered speeches on Guyana Constitutional Reform, Parliament, Legislative Drafting, Mediation, Adoption, Custody, Division of Property, Wills and other Laws relating to Children and Women.

25 November 2011 - delivered a speech on Mediation and Violence and participated in Panel Discussion for International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women hosted by Guyana Association of Professional Social Workers in colloboration with the United Nations Population Fund under the theme "Commit Act & Demand: We can Stop Violence Against Women."

28 October 2011 - delivered the Welcome Speech at the Mediation Forum under the theme "Embracing the Potential of Mediation" hosted by the Mediation Institute of Guyana Inc. (MIG) at Oceanview Hotel, Guyana.

28 October 2011 - delivered a speech on "The Process of Mediation and the Benefits" at the Mediation Forum under the theme "Embracing the Potential of Mediation" hosted by the Mediation Institute of Guyana Inc. (MIG) at Oceanview Hotel, Guyana.

On the 5 June 2011, Ms Ali made a presentation on behalf of Nacosa at the Enmore Masjid, East Coast Demerara on Division of Property, Making Wills, Mediation and other matters.

On the 11 July 2010, Ms Ali made a presentation at the Bath Jama Masjid, West Coast Berbice on behalf of Nacosa on Wills and Powers of Attorney.

On the 30 June 2010, Ms Ali participated at a Public Forum on Alternative Dispute Resolution on behalf of GAWL and delivered a speech on the “Benefits of Mediation and the Mediation Process in Guyana ”.

On the 4 February 2009 speech at Mae's Secondary School at Subryanville, Georgetown to fourth and fifth form students on Laws relating to Custody, Adoption, Maintenance and Divorce - on behalf of GAWL.

GUYANA PARLIAMENT: A DEMOCRACY OR A MOCKERY at the second Law Conference of the GBA, 2003 which was also well received and touted as a resounding success.

GUYANA - A REVIEW OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM PROCESS at the first Law Conference of the Guyana Bar Association (GBA) 2002.

Her speech was so well received that it was published under the title A REVIEW OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM PROCESS IN GUYANA Caribbean Law Review  -  a University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill, Barbados publication, 2003.
